Yoga instructor

Shannon practices yoga near the shores of Lake Huron, on the Traditional Territory of the Attawandaron and Ojibway peoples. In 2023, she moved to the West Coast of Ontario after living and teaching yoga on Coast Ts’msyen territory, where she co-owned a yoga studio called Zikhara Yoga.

Shannon’s training began in 2012, when she immersed herself in mediation sanctuaries in Japan and northern India. She took a 300-hour intensive yoga and Thai massage course in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal.

In January 2020, she completed the 85-hour prenatal yoga teacher training program at Semperviva studio in Vancouver.

Her style is to tune into the inner flow, and to explore our creative and intuitive power through vinyasa movements with a focus on the breath and stilling the mind.
